Possibilities of multidisciplinary cooperation in the field of solving pediatric feeding disorders

This thesis deals with the problem of pediatric feeding disorders. It brings the unique experience of formal and informal caregivers of children with feeding difficulties. The aim of the thesis is to describe the current management of pediatric feeding disorders and to identify the possibilities of multidisciplinary collaboration among health and social care professionals. The partial goal of the work is to describe and compare pediatric feeding disorder in different contexts, to identify the roles of individual professions and other actors in solving this problem and, last but not least, to identify needs based on specific people's experiences. This thesis is processed by the method of interpretive phenomenological analysis. The theoretical part defines the term pediatric feeding disorder and related terminology with reference to the International Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems. It also focuses on the possible causes of the disorder, its prevalence, and socio-economic impacts. It presents the role of health and social care professionals. Attention is paid to the methods and possibilities of child and family support and the accessibility of care in the Czech Republic and abroad. Child at risk and its family

The bachelor thesis is conveived as theoretical work. It consists of several parts describing social work with family and child at risk. It is focused especially on the social and legal protection of children. Mentioned social work with family and children at risk is higly important in their social and legal protection. It deals with concept of family followed by definition of the whole thing, its structure, functions and last but not least it deals with various types of families. Submitted thesis provides a definition of endangered child including all possible threats. Deals with causes of those threats and represents legal provision. Then it characterizes individual types of social and legal protection of children, various institutions and people in charge of this work. Thesis defines rights and duties of executive authorities and provides a view on several patterns as the evaluation of child at risk may look like. It contains multidisciplinary cooperation and its use. The conclusion is devoted to possible solutions of emergeny situations affecting either children or the whole families. Some of those solutions are completed with real life examples from author's experiences within work for social and legal protection of children authority and during the work in the social activation services for families with children.

The best interest of a child in the context of biopsychosocial aspects of health

The rigorous work can be considered as a response to the issue of child health promotion, which is currently still focused mainly on somatic health, while there is a long-term deficit and underestimation of psychosocial health promotion. The systematically conceived theoretical part of the thesis is based on the existing health status of the population and presents the biopsychosocial concept of health and its legislative anchoring in relation to ensuring the best interests of the child. The work also includes reflections on health and illness as the ability to cope with life stress and maintain homeostasis. The fundamental concept is the recognition of a living organism as a self-regulatory system with the ability to create symptoms at all levels of existence. In the viewpoint of the rigorous work, symptomatology can be seen as a specific language that allows to find a way for the organism to stop producing the symptoms of the illness and to cure it. The thesis entirely respects current health services, which are extended to support the psychosocial aspects of health in such a way that its individual aspects are given comparable attention. The Role of Special educator in Pre-school education of Children with Autistic Disorders

Rigorosum thesis follows up the role of the special education teachers in pre-school learning of children with autism. It's based on the study of the professional literature, long term experience of the author who works as a teacher in kindergarten with special education classes, her cooperation with colleagues, parents and external specialists. Rigorosum thesis is divided into three parts. The first, theoretical part is defining the basic concepts and terms like autism, the personality of special education teacher, school education system, supportive measures, inclusion. The second part outlines the experience and knowledge of the author. It deals with team and multi-discipline co-operation, it is showing structured interviews with the specialists co-operating with the kindergarten teachers and participating on special education of children in the kindergarten where the author works. It also brings brief overview of pre-schooling system in Sweden, Finland and Georgia. The author draws on her experience from professional business trips abroad. Interventions of the Department of Social and Legal Protection of Children in Families Living in Socially Excluded Localities in Scope of the Town of Nýřany

In bachelor thesis called "Intervention of the social and legal protection of children in families living in excluded areas in the scope of municipal authority of Nýřany. Theoretical part is split into two chapters, the first is social exclusion where is the explanation of the concept of social exclusion. In the concept of social exclusion is out of site. I occupy groups most at risk of social exclusion. The second chapter provides information on social work. I´m describing the history of social work to the social problems in society. The position is defined in the applicable legislation and social worker in families with children in the worker of the social and legal protection of children excluded sites. The multidisciplinary cooperation and the most common themes multidisciplinary cooperation are the subject of other topic. Tour with the most used approaches to social work and to a case conference with the theoretical part. Beginning of the practical part is moving closer of history of the town of Nýřany that should help to understand the specific area. Are characterised by selected excluded sites covered by municipal authority of Nýřany. The information was created for research from women who live in the excluded areas and raise their children. Beyond the undergraduate work was interesting to get the views of the social workers in the locations they carry out their difficult job. We tried to compare files and information from both research and create a preview on their interaction and their views on the current situation.

Cochem practice

This thesis deals with Cochem practise as a new way of solving the situation of child renduring the break up or divorce of parents. The introductory chapters describe the history of Cochem practise, the gradual adoption of its principles in Germany and the Czech Republic. It also describes the multidisciplinary cooperation of individual actors of the Cochem model, namely judges, workers of social and legal protection of children, family counselors, mediators, lawyers and experts. In the second part the thesis deals with the proces of realizing Cochem practise at a specific work place of the department of autority child protection. The thesis deals with the progress of the individual members of the multidisciplinary team and with how parents respond to the new approach.

Importance of Children's Centres influencing an active involvement of the family in the remediation process

The present thesis is concerned with the Importance of Children's Centres influencing an active involvement of the family in the remediation process, a theme so far unexplored in this respect. The objective of the thesis is to design suitable starting points of an individual care plan of families at risk which contribute to returning the child to his or her biological family in the remediation process by way of social rehabilitation. This is fulfilled with respect to partial objectives that reveal the influence of social and pathological effects, partial characteristics of remediation of the family and services rendered, and on the basis of these findings, the author identifies the ways, methods and techniques of health and social work that are applied by Children's Centres in relation to an active involvement of parents in a social rehabilitation process. In addition, the present thesis determines aspects of the multidisciplinary help that assist in participation in the support provided, or, as the case may be, aspects that prevent such participation. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and methodological. The theoretical part is engaged in the family as such, its functions, risk factors, the most common types of parental disorders in relation to a family at risk, families at risk, the contemporary status of care of children at risk. The thesis delineates in detail the forms of threats to children and the key risk factors influencing parents with respect to participation in solving the problem per se. The last chapter scrutinizes the problem of family remediation, its characteristics and stages. Further, the last chapter focuses on activities of "Dětské centrum Jihočeského kraje, o.p.s." [Children's Centre of the South Bohemian Region, public service company] in Strakonice and the social rehabilitation service the Centre provides - ways, methods and techniques of health and social work with families at risk. The content of the methodological part gives an explanation of the importance of the Children's Centre influencing an active involvement of parents in the remediation process using social rehabilitation, by applying the method of a semi-conducted interview as a primary technique of data collection. The data acquired are analysed and interpreted in Chapter eight. Chapter nine presents starting points for an individual care plan that serve, in compliance with the rules enumerated, as a functional tool for achieving an active involvement of parents in the social rehabilitation process. The final chapter concludes and further clarifies the problems at issue.

The family cure as a way to work with dysfunctional family in the City of Most

The theses is focused on the work with deprivated families with concentration on the method of family cure an its application in the City of Most. It is work which is based on combination of theoretical and empirical access to the problem which leads to proposal of practical application of the method in praxis. The document is structured in six chapters. The first chapter follows the term "family" as the basic cathegory of the issue. The second chapter deals with the theme of deprivated family, which represents the target group of the cure process. Besides the basic terms explanation this chapter includes also analysis of the present state of the work with family in our country and in some other european countries. The third chapter is already focused on the term family rescue. Besides of term definition it is concentrated on aims, processes and methods in use and on the legislative framework. The fourth chapter analyses situation in the field of family rescue method and its application in current system of work with deprivated families and introduces to reader modern methods promising for the future. Activities of the juvenile correction centre from the point of view of an officer in charge of youth at risk

The thesis focuses on the activity of an educational care centre as an institution which provides services for children who show negative signs in their behaviours and prone to develop behavioural disorders, as well as for their families. The centre also offers help to clients of a children and youth curator, whose role, as part of providing social and legal protection, is mentioned in the first chapter. In addition, attention is given to basic principles of a multidisciplinary cooperation and rehabilitation of a family. Another part describes the activity of the centre, an organisation providing preventive educational care for clients, and specific services of the centre. In the practical part the centre activity is portrayed by children and youth curators. The objective of the thesis is to evaluate the benefits of the educational care centre from the point of view of an OSPOD (a government body for social and legal protection of children) employee and asses what opportunities the centre offers when preventing institutional care and as part of rehabilitation of a family with a child who has behavioural issues.
